LG has released the first TV commercial for the upcoming superphone Optimus G on YouTube. The advert is in Korean and you’ll have to brush up your Korean skills to fully enjoy the ad that’s titled as “I’m a Boy!”
The official announcement of the Optimus G is just couple of days away in South Korea and this advert will run on TV after the event. The short clip shows you the impressive 13 megapixel camera of the Optimus G and it’s LTE capabilities. Check out our full rundown of the specs here.
We also reported that LG in joint collaboration with Qualcomm will announce a new phone (hopefully the Optimus G) in New York on 19th September. The Optimus G comes packed with some drooling specs that we have ever seen a 4.7″ True IPS+ display, Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.0 ICe Cream Sandwich that will be upgraded to Jelly Bean soon, says the Company.
There are no confirmations if the Optimus G will be the phone offered at upcoming 19th September event in NYC but we are almost 100% positive that it’ll be the said device or a similar variant with the same specs but a different name to go within the US. We’ll soon find that out in couple of days, so stay tuned and in the meantime watch the Korean commercial below.
