Amber Rose Confesses She Lets Her 4-Year-Old Drink Coffee 'All the Time'

Amber Rose

Amber Rose opened up about her unique style of parenting, with the 40-year-old sharing that her two sons—Sebastian, 10, and Slash, 4—drink coffee with her all the time.

She discussed her kids during an appearance on the No Jumper podcast this November, with the model confidently telling the hosts, "I give my kids coffee." The two hosts were visibly shocked by the admission, as moments before they said, "Of course not!" in response to Rose's question about whether or not they gave their daughter coffee.

Rose went on, "Slash is 4, and he drinks coffee all the time," noting that he drinks it "every day." She added, "Me and my kids sit, and we drink coffee, and we talk...It's not a big deal. It's really not."

Many people discussed Rose's decision in the comments, with a top-liked comment reading, "Sitting down, having coffee and conversation with a 4 year old is wild 😂."

"Letting kids drink coffee is irresponsible… and insane.. do some research on how much caffeine is in coffee & should children be exposed to that kind of thing," said someone criticizing Rose's choice, while others recalled times their grandparents let them drink coffee as a kid.

Another said, "Every Italian had coffee from when was a child I’m from Italy and it’s common start the day with caffè’ latte or cappuccino that’s considered a kid’s drink."

Others simply advised people to mind their own business, like a fan who commented, "THOSE ARE HER KIDS! tend to your own! I’m hope everyone commenting are perfect parents 😏."

Johns Hopkins Medicine stated that the effect of coffee on a child's nervous and cardiovascular systems is not fully known, but due to their smaller size, it takes less caffeine to impair children. Coffee can lead to increased heart rate, blood pressure and anxiety, as well as acid reflux and issues with sleep, while it can also be toxic if kids consume high enough amounts.

Rose shares her eldest son Sebastian with Wiz Khalifa and 4-year-old Slash with Alexander 'A.E' Edwards.
