Under the Sun: Reimagining Max Dupain’s Sunbaker

Fifteen artists contemplate and interpret Max Dupain’s iconic photograph Sunbaker (1937) – a symbol of a particular time and vision of Australian culture, while offering unique perspectives on what it represents in our current society, the artists also reflect on culture, identity, gender, and politics.
