What a lovely picture you've taken of this cuckoo Ken.

The Opus article needs to be updated, as that subspecies isn't on there yet, and the page is a little lacking in info too.

Can you help - Clements et al, don't mention mainland Australia in their range, do they breed there..... winter.... or just pass through on migration during the autumn?

As you needed help with identification, I guess you've not seen one before - so many congratulations on your new tick my friend.
