The Mazda6 lineup has been updated for 2021, with the biggest novelty being the introduction of the new GT SP model.

Following in the footsteps of the CX-9 GT SP, it replaces the old GT and stands out thanks to black mirror caps, unique 19-inch alloy wheels finished in black metallic and burgundy leather upholstery with red stitching inside.

Like its predecessor, the new Mazda6 GT SP, which is available in both sedan and estate body styles, is powered by the same turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder that delivers 170 kW (231 PS / 228 HP) at 5,000 rpm and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque at 2,000 rpm. It is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and returns 7.6 l/100 km (30.95 mpg US) on average.

This engine is connected to a different ix-speed auto ‘box and the fuel economy is rated at 7.0 l/100 km (33.6 mpg US).
