After being unveiled as a Russian-only model a couple of years ago, the Renault Arkana continues to arrive in additional markets around the globe, most recently touching down in Australia where it will slot above the Captur.

Aussies will be offered the Arkana in three different trim levels. The first is dubbed the Zen and is followed up by the Intens and the flagship R.S. Line. Pricing for the Zen starts at AU$33,990 (US$24,545), increases to AU$37,490 (US$27,072) for the Intens, and tops out at AU$40,990 (US$29,599) for the R.S. Line.

Key features of the entry-level Arkana include Renault Easy Drive that includes Active Emergency Braking with Pedestrian & Cyclist Detection, Forward Collision Warning, Safe Distance Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Cruise Control with Speed Limiter. There is also adaptive cruise control with stop and go, front, rear, and side parking sensors, LED headlights, 7-inch infotainment display, 4.2-inch gauge display, heated leather steering wheel, and 17-inch wheels.

The Arkana Intens has the same features but adds rear cross-traffic alert, over-speed prevention, an electric parking brake with auto-hold, 9.3-inch infotainment screen, 7-inch digital driver display, satellite navigation, multi-sense with 3 driving modes and 8 ambient lighting options, leather and suede upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats and 18-inch two-tone wheels.

Finally, the range-topping Arkana R.S. Line comes with a sunroof, heated and perforated leather steering wheel, frameless auto-dimming mirror, wireless phone charger, red stitching, faux carbon fiber accents, rear privacy glass, 18-inch two-tone wheels with a red accent, gloss lack exterior trim, and front and rear skid plates.

All models are powered by a 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 154 hp (115 kW) at 5,500 rpm and 193 lb-ft (262 Nm) of torque at 2,250 rpm. This engine is coupled to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and the crossover includes three customizable driver modes.
