Washington CNN  —

Fatigued of your fatigues? Well, then, good news: The U.S. Army’s new camouflage pattern is officially available.

The design, called the Operational Camouflage Pattern, will replace the current look, Universal Camouflage Design, on Army Combat Uniforms in stores over a six-month period from July to November, according to an Army press release.

Soldiers will begin receiving the new uniforms in January 2016, while the U.S. Army National Guard, the U.S. Army Reserve and Senior Reserve Officer Training Corps will have access to equipment and uniforms with the Operation Camouflage Pattern next summer.

“I have asked noncommissioned officers to ensure their Soldiers understand that during this transition period, several uniforms and variations will be authorized in our formations,” Sgt. Maj. of the Army Daniel A. Dailey said in the press release.

“Presenting a professional appearance is very important to Soldiers,” he said. “But, we will not inconvenience or burden our troops. We will still be the most lethal fighting force the world has even known even if our belts don’t match for the next few years.”

The newly designed uniforms will also feature minor structural modifications, including a redesigned shoulder sleeve pocket with a zipper opening, no drawstring on the pants, a button on the lower calf pocket, only two pen pockets on the sleeve and no elbow or knee patch hook and loop.
