PEDESTRIANS heading to and from Limerick Street and surrounding streets will soon be able to walk more safely with the announcement of funding towards the construction of almost a kilometre of new footpath.
On Monday 20 January, Coonamble Shire Council received news of a $317,370 grant from the state government’s Get NSW Active Program to build a footpath to connect homes in the area to the main part of town.
