Buckle up, y'all, and get ready for some truly juicy celebrity relationship news: Colin Firth’s wife, Livia Giuggioli, has admitted she cheated on him WITH THEIR ALLEGED STALKER.

Yep. You read that correctly. Giuggioli, a movie producer, and the Bridget Jones and Love Actually actor released a statement to a British newspaper, The Times, that said she was “involved with” Marco Brancaccia, an Italian journalist, in 2015 and 2016. Soon after, though, Brancaccia was accused of stalking the pair.

“A few years ago Colin and Livia privately made the decision to separate,” the statement read. “During that time Livia briefly became involved with former friend Mr. Brancaccia. The Firths have since reunited.”

Brancaccia, however, denied the stalking claims and said she just wanted to cover up their relationship. He also claimed she said she wanted to be with him instead of Firth.

“My ‘stalking’ consisted of two messages via WhatsApp after she ended our relationship in June 2016, and an email,” he told The Times, via People. “I wrote an email to Colin about my relationship with Livia, which I now regret sending, and she filed a complaint against me for stalking out of fear that I could go public with what she had revealed to me about her marriage and work.”

The allegations against Brancaccia surfaced after a court document leaked, according to the couple's statement. Firth and Giuggioli have been married for 21 years and share two teenage children. Italian police are currently investigating her claims.
