A family of seven have been spotted all crammed on to a tiny motorbike in the county of Duchan in China.

Pictures show a woman sitting in the middle to drive the vehicle while five other children and an elderly woman holding on tight to each other around her, reported People's Daily Online

Some online users joked that the unusual scene looked more like a circus performance while others condemned the driver for putting her family's life in danger.

The family were reported to be travelling from a rural village to a city in Jiangxi Province on September 27.

Pictures show that the youngest child appeared to sit between the handlebars while another child was placed on the woman's lap.

Holding on to the female driver were two more children and a pensioner, presumably the grandmother.

The person on the rear, appearing to be a girl, could barely fit onto the tiny vehicle, but she managed to grab onto her relatives and kept herself on the motorbike.

The identity of the family remains unknown.

The Chinese online community is awed by the pictures and equates the family's journey with a circus performance.

One online user said: 'That's talent right there.'

However, another user condemned: 'If you wanted to die, leave the children alone!'
