Former child star Nikki Webster goes makeup free in a casual ensemble as she treats her children to show bags at the Sydney Royal Easter Show

She's the former child star who shot to fame after her starring role in the opening ceremony of the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

And on Monday, Nikki Webster treated her daughter Skylah, eight, and son Malachi, four, with a trip to the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

The 34-year-old, known for her hit song Strawberry Kisses, cut a casual figure in a black jumpsuit and white sneakers as she posed for photos with her children inside the show bag pavilion.

Nikki accessorised with a black shoulder bag and a pair of stylish sunglasses, perched on top of her head.

She swept her strawberry blonde locks back off her face, and went makeup-free, showing off her natural beauty.

Nikki doted over her children, who looked adorable in her dance studio's apparel.

Last year, Nikki responded to calls to have her perform at the Brisbane Games in 2032.

'I'd love to perform in Brisbane. Who wouldn't?' Nikki told Woman's Day at the time.

She called TV presenter Deborah Knight's petition for her return 'very humbling'.

'The Olympics are always a very special time for me, so to be thought of in that way is just incredible,' she added.

The former child star captured the hearts of the world at the opening and closing ceremonies of the Sydney Games in 2000, at the tender age of 13.

Nikki recently resurfaced in a new campaign for Boost Juice's 'Strawb's Kisses' - playing on the name of her hit song Strawberry Kisses.

While she is now a mother and dance studio owner, some fans clearly still think of her as a pre-teen pop star.

'Thanks for making me feel old, Boost Juice,' one Facebook user commented, while another added: 'Wow, so grown up...'

Since her performance at the Olympics, Nikki has opened three dance schools, released eight albums and co-authored a children's book called Dare to Dream.
