Hitting all the right notes! Ex-Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton shows off her abs in mismatched two-piece as she hits the beach in Hawaii
She’s gearing up for the release of a brand new album, but former Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton swapped the studio for the beach during an appearance in Hawaii on Sunday.
The 31-year old looked showed off her washboard abs in a mismatched bikini after hitting the beach for some much needed down time after laying down tracks for the yet to be titled LP.
Revealing an athletic figure, Melody caught the eye as she took advantage of soaring Pacific temperatures by bronzing herself close to the shoreline.

In preparation for a dip in the ocean the singer style her long brown locks in a tight plait, while tinted sunglasses rounded things off.
Melody later covered up in a white lace top and matching shorts – a look she teamed with strappy gladiator boots for a short coastal walk.
The singer is expected to release her new album later this year after taking a four-year hiatus following the release of mixtape PO.Y.B.L in 2012.

Her appearance in Hawaii follows a recent trip to Australia, where she filmed a new MTV reality series alongside Geordie Shore's Ricci Guarnaccio.
Melody rose to stardom at the tender age of 18 when she joined famed girl-band The Pussycat Dolls in 2003.
But she recently claimed the band's management team forced her to become Nicole Scherzinger's back-up dancer, despite the fact that she had joined the group as a singer.

'I was the only teenager in the group. I had no experience in the industry at all', explained the brunette beauty in an interview with E! Australia's The Hype.
When asked whether it was difficult for her to learn how to dance at such late notice, Melody responded: 'It was a really really difficult process for me because I got into the group to sing.
'Gears shifted, like quickly overnight. Nicole who was older than me, she had more experience, she had been in two groups prior and she had her own management'.
