And just hours after the Herald Sun posted the said image alongside the headline 'Wacko Jacko 2.0,' Paris Jackson took to Twitter, blasting the writers.

The daughter of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, shared with her 1.35 million followers: 'You guys are f**kin' cowards.'

The brunette later followed suit with: 'again i couldn't care less that they call me, its the principle.'

Paris' representative has since vehemently denied these claims however, telling Daily Mail Australia: 'This isn't true. Paris couldn't have refused to wear a custom-made Alex Perry design to the Melbourne Cup, as no such dress was ever made.'

'Paris did wear a piece from Alex's collection on the cover of Stellar Magazine,' they explained.
