Former Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns and his partner Michelle Leslie are getting married, a new report claims. 

According to the Daily Telegraph on Friday, Daniel, 39, and his partner have been telling friends of their imminent wedding plans. 

Former model Michelle, 37, wore her diamond ring while attending St Jerome's Laneway Festival at Callan Park in Sydney's Rozelle earlier this month.

She was said to be openly showing off the ring, with the pair telling pals a wedding is soon to follow, the paper claims.  

The couple have been coy about wedding plans, but the model has been wearing a sparkler on her wedding figure since 2017.  

In an interview with Stellar magazine last year, the former model brushed off questions while wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger.

Asked whether she has any 'happy news' to share, Michelle responded, 'no', without elaborating on the shiny new accessory on her left hand.

'We're super happy, really happy,' Michelle said. 'We just want to keep our private life to ourselves.'

She continued: 'I think I've managed to find the place where I am really happy. It just took me a minute.'

Daniel was married to singer Natalie Imbruglia, 44, for just over four years, from December 2003 to January 2008.

Michelle married entertainment executive Adam Zammit in October 2012 and separated two years later. 

Daniel and Michelle went public with their romance in 2017 but are believed to have been dating since October 2016.

Michelle made headlines in 2005 due to a drug conviction in Indonesia, after being caught in possession of two ecstasy pills. 

During her incarceration Leslie converted to Islam and began wearing Islamic dress, however a spokesman at the time said she had already converted to the Islamic faith prior to her arrest. 

The Adelaide-born model served three months in prison after facing up to 15 years, the maximum penalty for drug possession.

Because of the three months Leslie had already spent in custody, she was then freed from Kerobokan prison. 

Whereas Daniel may still be very much in the public eye, the same can't be said for Michelle, who happily discusses her love of privacy and a quiet life.  

In her interview with Stellar, the brunette opened up about her business, Michelle Leslie Design, which she has now been successfully running for 10 years. 

Michelle admitted that most of her days are now spent between building sites and looking at renovation plans; a lifestyle she 'loves' deeply.
