Arnold Schwarzenegger's historic 57-year-old bodybuilding record has been smashed . . . by a teenager.

The legendary former bodybuilder turned actor and politician created history when he won the Mr Universe title at the age of just 20. And it saw him become the youngest ever to get a “pro card”, too.

But now, a whopping 57-years-later, a 19-year-old has broken the record by winning the Classic Physique pro, and getting his own “pro card” as a result. Anton Ratushnyi won the NPC national division title in the United States in Texas at the weekend.

His win, which saw his insanely muscled and toned body pick up the top prize, saw him also get a pro card, meaning he is no longer classed as an amateur.

The teenager burst onto the scene earlier this year, and has remained elusive in the eyes of the media ever since. Not much is known about him, other than the fact it took him just four years to go from normal-looking average teenager to muscle Adonis akin to a Greek god.

Ratushnyi has already amassed a following of more than 200,000 on Instagram, with every single one of his snaps containing close up shots of him posing with his muscles on show. Fans flocked to the comments of his NPC championship win announcement to praise the bloke.

One said: “How was he not gonna win haha. Dude looks like sculpted stone.” Another wrote: “Congrats!! Looking forward to see what you do! LIMITLESS!!!”

And a third commented: “Cant imagine wanting to become a BB (bodybuilder) and then u have to go against this dude.”

He smashed Arnie's record that had stood for 57 years

Many also called for him to enter next year's Mr Olympia tournament, which could see him break another of Arnold Schwarzenegger's records, should he win – something we wouldn't bet against, considering how unbelievably ridiculous the bloke's muscles are.
