The much-loved buffoon recreated one of his finest moments, attempting to drive his green Mini while sat on top of an armchair, steering the wheel with a mop, and with Teddy by his side.
Mr Bean was first seen in St James's Park, enjoying an ice cream and taking a selfie next to the London Eye. Too bad he didn't climb on board.
A police escort then followed him down the Mall before he came to a halt outside Buckingham Palace and was joined by a large crowd of fans waiting to wish him a happy birthday (although his actual birthday is on September 15, the eager beaver).

"I've been a fan of Mr Bean since I was 3 years old so getting to meet him in person today was a dream come true," said fan Matt Dille, who gave his hero a birthday cake.
The celebrations were to mark 25 years since Mr Bean was first shown on UK TV, before it became a global success story.
A new cartoon version of the series featuring Rowan Atkinson will begin airing on Boomerang from tomorrow (September 5).
