I am a licensed psychologist specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders, body-focused repetitive behaviors, and other conditions. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from Wake Forest University before completing my master’s degree from the Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University.

I earned my doctorate from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, a clinical psychology program specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). During my doctoral program, one of the most fulfilling experiences was obtaining research and clinical experience with various populations where I was able to implement evidence-based treatments, including CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and exposure and response prevention (ERP) to treat various anxiety disorders and other conditions. After graduation, I completed a post-doctoral fellowship where I received specialized training in treating anxiety disorders and OCD. Currently, I am a member of the International Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Foundation (IOCDF), Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), and the Pennsylvania Psychological Association (PPA).

I am truly grateful that my job allows me to connect with so many wonderful individuals and their families. In addition to delivering evidence-based treatment to children, adolescents, and adults, I have a particular interest in helping people develop more self-compassion, soften self-critical tendencies, and develop a more flexible relationship to their thoughts and feelings. I also enjoy helping people who struggle with perfectionism, procrastination, and generalized anxiety.

I am dedicated to helping people cultivate resilience with individualized, strength-based treatment plans. I believe that therapy can be a transformative experience where a person does not only expand their repertoire of skills to manage anxiety, intrusive thoughts, depression, or any other challenge but also develop more self-confidence to pursue a meaningful and happy life.
