    Linnea's story makes Monet real for all ages!

    This was purchased for my youngest granddaughter who is 5. But, I read it myself and hands down, this is a wonderful book -- terrific illustrations and the flowing fun text brings the Monet family to life for kids of ALL ages! Good ages for a child to read this would be about 8 -12...but it can be enjoyed much earlier if an adult is reading it to a child! Personally, I really enjoyed it myself and our 18 year old granddaughter who also read it said she enjoyed it and learned a lot too. It helped her to choose some sights for her trip to France next year. Linnea's relationship with her elderly friend is heartwarming, and their adventures in discovering Monet are perect! Belongs on every family's bookshelf!

    This book has many photos of Monet's paintings, and shares some history of Monet and Paris. Along with many types of flowers and plants. I use this book to teach my children about art, the artist and nature. I LOVE this book. BEAUTIFUL illustrations.
