In 1998 after the Homer Simpson Sanitation Commissioner debacle, the town of Springfield was abandoned and relocated. On a recent road trip, I discovered these signs as I stumbled upon a massive garbage pile after pulling off the road to stretch my legs approximately 5 miles outside of Springfield. I believe these to be the last known remnants of the original town of Springfield.

Actually, I just made these in my house. These are designed to mimic the classic, weathered, and cracked pub/gas station signs. I am including vintage sign tacks to mount them on your wall for an authentic vintage look.
