George Sowden is a British designer, who commenced working with Ettore Sottsass and Olivetti after moving to Milan in the late 1970s. In 1981, he became one of the co-founders of the Memphis Group.

Michele de Lucchi is a world famous product and furniture designer who was part of the Italian Memphis Group collective, famous for their highly acclaimed furniture collections. This design was one of three pink and pastel prototypes created for the Triennale di Milano in 1979.
