Seahawks place Jonathan Bullard on reserve/COVID-19 list, activate Cedrick Lattimore

Alex Collins’ elevation from the practice squad to the Seahawks’ game day roster on Friday seemed like the final roster move before the weekend, but that did not turn out to be the case.

Just a few hours before Seattle’s scheduled start to their playoffs and a game against the Rams, the team had to place defensive end Jonathan Bullard on the reserve/COVID-19 list. It’s not yet clear whether the move is the result of a positive test for Bullard himself or a close contact.

The vacated spot on the 53-man roster was then filled by undrafted rookie defensive tackle Cedrick Lattimore, who signed with the team after the draft and has spent the entire season on the team’s practice squad.

Bullard has been a game day inactive for the Seahawks in recent weeks, and with Jarran Reed, Bryan Mone, and Poona Ford all ready to play on Saturday, it’s unlikely Lattimore will suit up.

With Brandon Shell and Damarious Randall activated off of the reserve/COVID-19 list earlier in the week, Bullard is the only player Seattle has on the list.
