You might know David Hockney for his vibrant paintings of swimming pools and vivid landscapes. But have you eve wondered what occupies his brain when he’s not standing in front of the easel? Thanks to a video by UK artist Iris Borgers, you can peer into the famed painter's 2019 sketchbook, as David himself silently flips through pages and pages of quick portrait studies and outdoor scenes. It feels pretty special to gain an insight into the 83-year-old artist's daily observations (it's also a rather calming video).
