Q&A
Q: What has been your favorite high school class so far and why?
A: I would have to say my Advanced Placement language/literature classes because they may be challenging, but that is what makes them fun for me.
Q: What do you do for fun when you're not in class?
A: Much of my after-school time is spent doing homework, doing marching band or going to work. Any moment I have free time, I am too exhausted to do anything else. When I can, I try to go on hikes, or in the winter, I snowboard.
Q: What's the best advice a teacher, coach or parent ever gave you?
A: Never expect something to come together at the last minute. Always be proactive, always be thinking. That was from Mr. Traugott, the band director at Central.
Q: What will you miss about your school after graduation?
A: The school spirit. You can always tell a true warrior. Every Friday we're wearing red and white, and the football games are just great.
Q: What would you like to do after college?
A: I would hope that with my bachelor's I could maybe find a job as a research assistant, or maybe a zoo marine biologist, to pay my way to get my master's degree.
Q: If you could spend the next summer anywhere in the world, where would you go?
A: Europe. I spent three weeks in Germany, and I would really like to see more, including Italy and Greece.
