In news unrelated to Fashion Week (it exists!), Rose Byrne hit the red carpet of her new movie Insidious 2 wearing what might be the perfect fall party dress by Lanvin.
And our Style Icon nails it yet again. Her hot pink and floral cocktail dress manages to be a refined update to a possibly twee combo. (Of course, we expect no less from Lanvin creative director Alber Elbaz.) The exquisite draping on the bell sleeves and skirting make for a sophisticated shape, while the choice of black for the flower detail and contrast neckline create an edgier feel to the look. All she needed was a pair of Jimmy Choo patent pumps and an elegant art deco diamond and ruby earrings by Rona Pfeiffer to finish off the outfit.
