Cheryl Cole's ex-husband Ashley Cole has tweeted about his ex-wife, and in the cryptic text, he alludes to wanting her back.

After allegations that Ashley had sent racy picture messages to a number of women, Cheryl Cole confirmed that she was planning to separate from her husband. “Cheryl Cole is separating from her husband Ashley Cole. Cheryl asks the media to respect her privacy during this difficult time,” said her rep. “We have no further comment to make.”

When one of Ashley Cole's followers tweeted him, asking if Cheryl had taken him back yet, Ashley replied: "Maybe she could be the big box I have at my house, lol just going to jump out".

The pair separated back in 2010 following a public breakdown of their four-year-marriage, after a string of cheating allegations on Ashley's part.

In an interview for the December 2012 issue of GLAMOUR magazine, Cheryl told us: "It takes a long time after you've been with someone as long as I was [with Ashley] not to feel like you're cheating on them.

Ashley proposed in 2005 while the couple were on holiday in Dubai. He apparently took the singer on a camel ride before presenting her with a square-cut diamond ring. Ahh!
