Sarah Jessica Parker looks glamorous in statement gown on the red carpet

Sarah Jessica Parker looked undeniably glamorous as she graced the red carpet on Thursday, 5 October.

Always one to opt for show-stopping looks, SJP looked amazing as she attended the New York City Ballet's 2023 Fall Gala at the David H. Koch Theatre, Lincoln Center, in New York City. Putting on a radiant display, the star opted to wear a statement black gown, composed of an off-shoulder, long-sleeve look with cut-out detailing. The skirt of the gown was composed of a ballerina-style taffeta — honouring both the event she was attending and paying a subtle tribute to her Sex and the City character Carrie Bradshaw's eponymous look in the title credits.

Needless to say, SJP chose to accessorise perfectly. She paired her gown with strappy, mis-matching heeled sandals with gemstone detailing, sported a silver clutch bag and wore a statement bow in her hair. For her beauty look, she wore her signature blonde locks in a straightened style and chose a dynamic smokey eye and nude lip for her makeup.

SJP attended the Fall Gala with her husband, Matthew Broderick. For the Gala, Matthew looked sleek and sophisticated in a classic tuxedo. The pair were seen sharing some sweet moments on the red carpet together, with Matthew seen with a smile on his face as he put an arm around his wife.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick married in 1997 and are regularly spotted at events together. From January, the two will star in a play together, called Plaza Suite, in London.
