This Italian High Jumper's Half-Beard Will Fill You With Anxiety

Facial hair can be a great thing. Have you seen James Harden without his beard? That's a perfect example of facial hair being an ideal look for somebody. Enter, Italy's Gianmarco Tamberi. Tamberi is a pretty good high-jumper, but that's not why he's famous. He's famous because he chooses to wear a half-beard, where one side of his face is clean-shaven and the other side is a well-manicured beard.

If you have OCD, I'd avoid these pictures, because they will be tough to look at.

Tamberi, who finished a respectable second at Sainsbury's Anniversary Games, explained that he wears the half-beard to "entertain the crowd." This is not good entertainment, Gianmarco. If you want to entertain the crowd, learn how to sing, or dance, or do comedy, or I don't know, finish in first place and entertain the crowd with your world-class physical ability. But please either grow out the full beard or shave it totally. I'm begging you, because right now, looking at your face is making me anxious.
