Graphite powder is a widely used industrial material, which is obtained from high-purity graphite after crushing, grinding, and screening. The classification of graphite powder is mainly based on the particle size, ranging from 50 mesh to 30000 mesh. The larger the mesh, the finer the particle size, and the higher the price.

Graphite powder is soft and black-gray. Under the condition of oxygen isolation, its melting point is above 3000 ℃, which is one of the minerals resistant to high temperatures. At room temperature, toner powder is stable in nature and insoluble in water, dilute acid, and alkali; When oxygen is sufficient, carbon dioxide is generated by reaction with oxygen, and carbon monoxide is produced by reaction with oxygen when oxygen is insufficient; Fluorine energy reacts directly with carbon; At high temperature, many metal oxides can be reduced by reducing property, and metals can be smelted, such as iron making.

Graphite and love symbolize diamonds, diamonds, carbon 60, and so on are the carbon element of the single quality, for the same morph heteromorphic.

Graphite Powder
There are many types of graphite powder, and the main types are as follows:

Flake graphite powder is a crystalline mineral of carbon elements, which is like a fish scale, and the crystal lattice is a hexagonal layered structure. The distance between each layer is 340pm, and the space between carbon atoms in the same layer is 142pm. It belongs to a hexagonal crystal system, with complete layered cleavage. It has good properties of high-temperature resistance, conductivity, heat conduction, lubrication, plasticity, and acid-alkali resistance

Nano graphite powder is the product of graphite powder particles through the nano sieve, and the size of nano graphite powder reaches nanometer level. The particle size index: D100 < 1000nm, D50 < 400nm, carbon content is more than 99.99%. Nano graphite powder is an ideal solid lubricating material. It forms a tough and almost nonwearable nano graphite that is chemically bonded on the metal surface. A large amount of nano graphite is suspended in the lubricating oil, which can reduce friction and seal self-lubrication. It is widely used in the chemical industry, steel lubrication, aerospace, lubricating oil, and other fields.

The earth-shaped graphite powder is also called microcrystalline graphite, which has excellent quality, high fixed carbon content, little harmful impurities, extremely low sulfur and iron content, stable chemical properties, and is not affected by strong acid and alkali. It enjoys a high reputation in the graphite market at home and abroad, and is known as “gold sand”.

In addition to the above types, graphite powder can be divided into high purity graphite powder, casting graphite powder, colloidal graphite powder, etc.

Graphite Powder
Graphite powder is closely related to our life. Its main uses are as follows:

Refractory: graphite and its products have the properties of high-temperature resistance and high strength. In the metallurgical industry, they are mainly used to make graphite crucibles. In steelmaking, graphite is commonly used as the protective agent of ingot and lining of metallurgical furnaces.

Conductive materials: used in the electrical industry for manufacturing electrodes, brush, carbon rod, carbon tube, graphite gasket, telephone parts, TV picture tube coating, etc.

Lubricating material: graphite is often used as a lubricant in the machinery industry. The lubricating oil can not be used at high speed, high temperature, and high pressure, while graphite lubricating material can work at 2000 ℃ without lubricating oil.

High-temperature metallurgical materials: graphite has reducibility, which can be used to reduce many metal oxides at high temperatures and smelt metals, such as iron.

Burnishing agent and antirust agent: graphite is also the burnishing agent and antirust agent for glass and paper in the light industry. It is an indispensable raw material for manufacturing pencils, ink, black paint, ink, synthetic diamond, and diamond.
