The viral video shows tourist holding a blue-ringed octopus in their palm for a little while, before letting it go into water.

In the video, the octopus at first does not leave the person's palm and is stuck to it, but after a few seconds it leaves and goes into the water.

The way the person holds the octopus completely unaware of the potential danger, has left the social-media users shocked.

The video was originally uploaded on Tik-Tok, a video-sharing app, and later was shared on Reddit by user 'u/azymaris' recently, from where it went viral.
