This is not a drill: Kate Middleton is alive and well, and there is photographic (and video) evidence to prove it. After it was reported that Middleton and her husband Prince William were spotted at Windsor Farm Shop on Saturday, photos and videos emerged from their outing.

In a clip obtained by TMZ, the Prince and Princess of Wales can be seen leaving the local shop (which is located near their Berkshire home) in matching rain jackets and grocery bags in hand. Middleton, who can be seen smiling, paired her overcoat with coordinating black leggings, crew socks, and sneakers. Her long brown hair was worn down and parted on the side. Prince William wore a baseball cap and jeans.

The sighting comes after friends and sources close to the couple told The Sunday Times that William and Middleton are "trying to keep things as normal as possible" amid the rumors and speculation about their marriage. “Social media has provided the media with plenty of content, and the speculation around their marriage is just cruel," one friend told the outlet. "These are people with three small children going through the hardest time they’ve had to go through as a family, with that as an awful backdrop. They are trying to keep things as normal as possible for the kids, but it’s not easy.”

Another source added that William's main priority is to protect his wife and family. “William has always made it clear he wants to shield his family and friends from the madness of some media where he can," the insider said. "He is approaching this from his desire to protect Kate and his family and not get drawn into the media and social media craziness. Kate is smart, tough, resilient, and has good common sense. They will keep their cool heads over it. The public should leave her to recover in peace and leave William to do both his job as the Prince of Wales and his job of looking after his wife and his family as best he can.”

While Middleton has reportedly left the house multiple times while "smiling" and being "upbeat," the princess is expected to make a more official return to her royal duties sometime this spring. While The Times predicts her grand re-entrance to society will be sometime mid-April, The Telegraph reported that a royal source said Middleton is considering joining the family on the annual Easter walk on Mar. 31.
