The Seoul Metropolitan Government will host a traditional culture festival at Gwanghwamun Square in central Seoul, Sunday.
Visitors will be able to see tightrope walking three meters above the ground, as well as a performance of the popular folk tale "Chunhyangjeon," on a giant swing, which visitors also can use.
The festival will also feature a mix of traditional and modern culture.
A Yonsei University band will perform its own arrangements of folk songs.
Visitors can also take part in traditional games such as yunnori (a traditional board game) and play traditional musical instruments.
To ensure a more pleasant environment during the festival, the city is bringing in trees to provide shade. It is also installing umbrellas and benches as well as booths for charging smarthpones.
Traffic will be blocked from passing Gyeongbok palace and from the intersection by Gwanghwamun Square.
