Vietnam is a nation that lives on the motorbike. Since cars are heavily taxed by the government, the motorbike is a cheap and flexible means of transport suitable for the narrow streets and alleys of Vietnam. "Everybody in Vietnam has at least one motorbike," my driver in Hue informed me, "It's cheap," he said.
