With 7 weeks at Outreach under my belt, I've got them all! I've completed all 4 learning tracks in Outreach University! As an instructional designer, I put a high value on the clarity and usability of the content I create. Having the right processes and tools are critical to achieving quality and keeping that quality consistent. This is where Outreach stands out for me. This one-stop-shop sales execution platform eliminates context switching and leverages AI to both automate repetitive tasks and provide real-time insights. This frees the entire Sales organization from the sales rep to the CRO to focus on high-level strategies. I look forward to creating content that helps end users take advantage of this platform!

In my second week on the Outreach Instructional Design team, I received my first badge from Outreach University! I look forward to progressing on this journey and learning all about Outreach's Sales Execution Platform.

One more TechSmith certification in hand! I am happy to share that I’ve earned the Camtasia Explorer Certification. The Explorer certification covers the basics from scripting, storyboarding, and basic editing and visual effects to voice narration, captioning, and exporting the final product. Even though I’ve used Camtasia on both Windows and Mac for years, the Explorer certification program leads me to rethink my workflow and re-familiarizes me with a few time-saving techniques. For example, - Take advantage of keyboard shortcuts to toggle between tools and perform editing actions. - Use frame extension as much as possible in the editing process. - Save customized callouts by adding them as user styles for reuse in the future. This month marks my retirement from the Board of Directors at Project Feast, a nonprofit that prepares immigrants and refugees for a career in the food industry in the Greater Seattle area. The four years of service has been one of the most meaningful professional and personal growth experiences. I went from having little fundraising experience to leading Project Feast’s annual fundraiser planning four years in a row, successfully organizing two in-person and two virtual galas. Planning the annual fundraiser has also given me opportunities to develop and execute outreach strategies for corporate sponsorships. As the Board Treasurer for the last two years, I’ve unlocked even more skills while overseeing Project Feast’s financial health. Most importantly, I got to work with an amazing and dedicated group of people. I remain humbled by the resilience of the organization, as well as the culinary training it provides to immigrants and refugees. The Board is looking to bring on new members who are passionate about supporting immigrants and refugees to pursue a career in the food industry. Project Feast’s annual fundraiser, Feast for Change, is back live on October 15th! The 2022 Feast for Change (https://lnkd.in/gih9fyf) is the fourth annual fundraiser I have organized for Project Feast.
