I create effective and engaging education and enablement content to empower technology users.

I am recertified for Snagit by TechSmith! When I earned my Snagit 2021 certification, I was especially excited about the Panoramic selection for screen capture feature. Since then, I’ve used Panoramic selection to capture long-running console output, product UI on a scrolling window, or code in a text editor and then took sections of the screenshot for content creation, peer review, or technical validation. Panoramic capture elevates the production quality of my content. One of the new features I learned this time around is Screen Draw in a video capture. Draw is one of the video recording controls that lets you use the Arrow, Square Shape, and Step tools to highlight or mark up areas of the screen while you are recording it. Snagit screen recording is best suited for creating a quick demo to clarify a process that requires minimal editing. I can’t wait to play with Screen Draw in my next quick demo. I have a SnagIt license for the first time in probably decades, and I'm blown away by all the tool can do now! Me to the panoramic screen-capture feature: "Where have you been all my life?" I'm definitely interested in your STC talk if you do one!
