Ann Curry debuts powerful new PBS series: We'll Meet Again

Award-winning journalist Ann Curry is the Executive Producer and reporter behind PBS's We'll Meet Again, a highly-anticipated new series that features dramatic reunions of people whose lives crossed, and then separated, at pivotal moments. Emphasizing the resilience, kindness and strength of the human spirit, We'll Meet Again reveals the human side of world-changing events like the Vietnam War, 9/11, and the internment of the Japanese during World War II. Requiring tremendous amounts of in-depth research, Curry helped people track down the individuals who changed, and help save, their lives. In interviewing her subjects, she beautifully draws out the power of human connection and reminds us of our overriding similarities even during divisive times. We''ll Meet Again premieres January 23rd at 8/7c.

" When you get to witness these reunions and talk to these people there's a real tenderness. I think we all wish someone would come to us and say, 'You did something deeply meaningful and it changed the course of my life.' It's a great pleasure to be able to be part of giving that to people."
-Ann Curry

Selected to grace the cover of People magazine, and sought-out for interviews with both CBS' This Morning and Forbes, Curry shared insights into the production of We'll Meet Again as well as spoke out about gender equality and the need for more women in positions of power.

On screen, Curry showcases the same passion, breadth of knowledge, inspiration, and generosity of spirit she is heralded for by audiences at events. With an uncanny ability to bring current events and history to life through impactful, human-focused stories that resonate, Curry illuminates how people might take a stand or make a difference in their own lives. Having interviewed subjects who have faced racism, prejudice, war, and seemingly insurmountable challenges, Curry provides lessons on perseverance, tolerance and how to live boldly.
