Succulent Arrangement Care Guide

Have you made a succulent arrangement or been gifted one but have no idea how to look after it? Don’t worry! I have all the care tips right here.

Watering

Soak your arrangement until water is running out of the drainage hole. Then, only water when the soil is COMPLETELY dry (you can check this by putting your finger in the soil).
Succulents way prefer to be under watered than over watered. If you over water they may rot (there is no coming back from this!), if you underwater they may shrivel a little but they will be fine!

Lighting

Succulents LOVE light. Place them out on a patio to keep them happy! If you would like to keep them inside, make sure they are getting plenty of natural light (I don’t recommend keeping them inside but some people insist they can keep them alive inside!)

Succulents will stretch out and get really tall with their leaves spread out a lot if they are not getting enough light.

Keep your succulent out of the hot afternoon sun to avoid it getting burnt - again, a patio is usually the perfect place!

Growing / Replanting

Your succulents are growing plants so over time they will grow and start looking a little wild (I honestly think this is the beauty of them though! They change so much over time and might start growing out of the pot - they have a mind of their own!)

If your bowl starts looking to full or overgrown you can take out some plants and replant them into a bigger or different pot. You can also plant them in your garden if you like! Just plant them somewhere that is out of the afternoon sun so they don’t burn in summer.
