Well I finally found the Emperors! They came today all 11 healthy as ever I'm super pumped about the situation. Right now I had to put them in a 55 at my shop but I should be moving them into a 220 I've decided I'm going to give them my 220 to grow out in in the middle of my store. I think it'll be awesome. I'm going to use this thread tho to track there progress as you can't find much information on them in the first place so Ill be sharing what I learn about them as I go. Enjoy

Nice looking Emperors.I have always felt that they do not look like cichlids when they have some decent size on them.Their tail fin which is one of their most impressive looking features is certainly not a typical looking cichlid tail.

They will be huge in no time. Nice to see them available again it seems like it's been a couple years. My favorite cichlid by far.

Ok time to update it's been six months since I posted the first photo of the emperors, btw there Frickin huge now lol we had all 11 of them still as of yesterday when one decided he was jumping out so we're down to ten now. I know...... lol. Anyways there like 8 or 9 inches now and getting bigger everyday. You have never seen growth in a cichlid till uve seen these everyday they're noticeably larger. I'm finally getting them into my 220 gallon tank. It was rough getting it to my shop but it's finally here and ready to be put together. Super stoked also sorry this is just a long ramble I'm waiting on truck order and still have had no coffee ughhhh
