What’s New for the 2021 Honda CR-V?

The 2021 Honda CR-V is the compact crossover SUV that is packed with personality and modern features. With its enviable all-around looks and its practical functionality, this is the crossover model that you have been searching for. While deciding to buy the CR-V is easy to do, choosing from the five well-appointed models requires more research.

2021 Honda CR-V LX

Across all four trim levels, the CR-V has the same well-designed powertrain. This is a 190-horsepower, turbocharged I-4 engine. The Honda CR-V LX’s many standard safety features include adaptive cruise control, Honda Sensing® safety features, a split-folding rear seat, a 5-inch central display screen, and many other desirable features.

2021 Honda CR-V Special Edition

For 2021, the CR-V has added an additional trim level known as the Special Edition, which adds a lot of desirable features and slots in between the base LX and mid-level EX trims. The Special Edition comes with heated front seats, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the larger 7-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. Other upgraded features include a push button start and a dual-zone automatic climate control system. Drivers will also enjoy Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock®, which allows you to leave your key in your pocket or purse.

2021 Honda CR-V EX

At the CR-V’s EX trim level and across all higher trim levels, you can choose between the gas-powered engine and a hybrid engine that delivers 143 net horsepower. Regardless of the powertrain you select, your EX will have a few extra features not available in the LX or Special Edition. Some of these are a moonroof, a blind spot information system, second-row USB charging ports, fog lights, a power driver’s seat, rear privacy glass and a retractable rear cargo area cover.

2021 Honda CR-V EX-L

The EX-L has most of the same features as you will find at the EX trim level. This CR-V trim adds features like leather upholstery, a power liftgate, power-adjusting front seats for both the driver and passenger, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, an eight-speaker sound system, and more.

2021 Honda CR-V Touring

The CR-V Touring is loaded with premium features. In addition to the many features found in the lower trim levels, the Touring adds a heated steering wheel, a hands-free power liftgate, wireless phone charging, 19-inch alloy wheels, a navigation system with voice recognition, a premium sound system with nine speakers, and a subwoofer and more.
