McFly star Dougie Poynter has allegedly split from his girlfriend of three years, Maddy Elmer.
The pair first started dating in 2018, but the former flames weren't linked to one another until they were spotted kissing during a day out in London in 2019.
Back in September, the 34 year old guitarist was asked if he thought Maddy was ‘the one’, to which he said: “I hope so. She is ace. We are very, very happy.”
Maddy and Dougie are said to have moved in together some time in 2019, but things appear to have taken a turn for the worse since then and they’ve decided to call time on their relationship.
A source told The Sun: “Maddy and Dougie seemed to be a great match. They had a lot in common, including their passion for unusual animals, like insects and reptiles.
“But like a lot of couples they found lockdown very hard and they decided to split last year.
“It was a very upsetting time for both of them, but the decision was mutual.”
OK! have approached Dougie’s representative for comment.

The McFly star hasn’t shared any snaps of Maddy on his Instagram for some time, with the last post of her being shared back in 2020.
On Valentine’s Day of that year, Dougie shared a pair of snaps of his model girlfriend alongside the caption: “Happy valentines my shwingness Queen”.
Other than that and a couple of other photos, the guitarist appears to have largely kept his relationship private.
Meanwhile, Maddy’s page doesn’t have any photographs dating back further than October 2021.
Prior to Maddy, Dougie dated singer Ellie Goulding and, after calling it quits in 2016, Ellie said she remained friends with Dougie.
Speaking about him in 2017, the Your Song singer told MailOnline: “There's absolutely no... it's like we've always been friends. He's one of my really good friends.
"For me, when I've been in relationships with people, those are the people I will always hold dear to me.”
"So if still maintaining a really awesome friendship with an ex is possible, then of course that's the best thing because you've shared so much with that person,” Ellie went on.
Dougie also had a relationship with The Saturdays’ Frankie Bridge.
Frankie and Dougie dated for two years, but called it quits in 2010.
As a result of the break up, Dougie admitted himself to The Priory a year later to receive treatment for depression.
Frankie went on to marry now-husband Wayne Bridge in 2014.
