Biography: Kristen Stewart rose to fame playing Bella Swan in the Twilight Saga series of films released 2008-2012. The films were based on the books by Stephanie Meyer and co-starred her then boyfriend Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. The books phenomenal popularity was equalled on film and the films have made $3.3 billion worldwide.
Before Twilight Stewart was a child star most notably appearing in "Panic Room" (2002) opposite Jodie Foster.
After Twilight Stewart starred in "Snow White and the Huntsman" opposite Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron before moving into more independent films.
In 2014 Stewart was the first American actress to win a French César Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in "Clouds of Sils Maria" (2014). In 2018 Stewart was a judge at the Cannes Film Festival.
