Rainforest revealed - Great adventure for young and old. An introduction to Aboriginal culture, rafting down a rainforest rives and snorkelling to see small turtles and fish, and reallly instructive walk through the rainforest with a guide. That, plus pick-up and drop-off at the apartment, made for a brilliant day out.

Floating Through a Cathedral of Trees - I did a float on the Mossman and a tour of the gorge in October 2023 and it was beyond anything I had hoped for (and I had some pretty high expectations). Trent and Rene were AMAZING guides, and their love for and appreciation of the rainforest was evident from the moment we met. From horticulture to biology to just moments of quiet bordering on a near-spiritual experience, these two were exemplary guides whom I cannot laud enough. My thanks to them for a beautiful experience, one which I will carry with me for the rest of my days. In addition, Joe from Oasis Transport who drove me up to Cairns was fantastic. He went above and beyond to explain the history of the Tropical North, taking detours for scenic overlooks and telling stories rich with local color. Oh, and we did that all and were still ahead of schedule! Such a phenomenal experience. Make sure to go today!

‘Gorge’ous day. - We had the most awesome day seeing the beautiful Mossman gorge, floating down the river, snorkelling with turtles and learning about the ancient rainforest. Will was a fantastic guide, with so much knowledge and many interesting stories, and lovely Leo made our river trip a delight. Would highly recommend.

Adventure Tour is wonderful - Started early as I was coming from Cairns and had signed up for the full day Adventure tour. The ride there was about 90 minutes. Started with rafting on the Mossman Gorge. Our guides were Renee and Francisco. They both were attentive and fun. There is snorkeling as well as rafting. They provide a wetsuit. The rainforest is amazing and it was great to experience it this way — walking, snorkeling and rafting. Renee was very knowledgeable about the rainforest. We were sad when the rafting was done but then we had a lovely lunch in town followed by a hike through the rainforest. Along the way we stopped for a snack at a little waterfall where we could swim if we wanted. Truly a lovely day.

Relaxing day spent in the rainforest - We had a really great day yesterday. Even though it was a full day tour, it was relaxing floating down the Mossman gorge listening to nature. We were lucky that it had rained the day before so we got to go down a different part of the river. Lunch provided was really yummy with lots of options. It was nice to include something cultural in the day with the smoking ceremony. Trent the tour guide was easy going and a good laugh! My only recommendation would be to pop a camping “toilet tent” or something at the start of the river float so the girls can easily get changed in/out of swimmers.
