Kate Ritchie has finally gone Instagram official with her hunky new beau, Chevy Black.

The 44-year-old Gold Logie winner subtly reposted a video of herself shared by Black, @blackchevvy, to her 332,000 followers on Monday. Black, who has just over 3000 Instagram followers, shared a video of Ritchie sitting on rocks along the coast in Coogee, New South Wales, cuddling her English cocker spaniel, Annie.

The wholesome video re-shared on @kateritchieofficial was made a little more magical by a rainbow beaming in the background.

She also posted a picture to her Instagram grid of the special moment, with the caption: “worth freezing for”.

Ritchie was first pictured with her new boyfriend while on a romantic picnic in February, according to the Daily Mail.

Things with her new man appear to be going well, with paparazzi also snapping the lovebirds in March, attending Ritchie’s eight-year-old daughter Mae’s school sports carnival and meeting her mum, Heather, at Centennial Park in Sydney as well as sharing a kiss while swimming at Clovelly Beach.

The couple has reportedly become incredibly close during the last few months, with sources telling Woman’s Day Black is a “kind and lovable type of guy”.

“She’s been introduced to the family, including Chevy’s mother and siblings,” a source told the publication.

The former Home and Away star’s new love interest comes after she split up with John Bell last year and stepped away from her role at Nova FM to focus on her health.

Last October, Ritchie shocked Nova listeners with her announcement that she was taking some time off her duties as radio host on the drive show with Tim Blackwell and Joel Creasey after a “hectic year”.

“So I’ve made the decision to take a short break to have more time for myself and my family to re-energise,” she wrote on Instagram after her radio announcement.

It was later revealed and confirmed by Ritchie, that she had taken time off to go to a rehab facility. Ritchie explained she had realised she had “an unhealthy reliance on alcohol” for which she sought professional help.

In January, she posted on her Instagram account that she would extend her break, but was “doing well and excited for 2023”.

The much-loved TV personality has since made a comeback, with an announcement in March that her break from the airwaves was over and she would be moving into a prime breakfast co-hosting gig on Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa show.
