Lindsay Lohan is being celebrated online for showing off a ‘realistic’ post-baby body in her first public photo since giving birth.

Lohan, 37, and her husband Bader Shammas, 36, welcomed a baby boy named Luai in July.

In a photo posted to Instagram on Thursday, Lohan wrote: “I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery. Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world!”

She then went on to make a Mean Girls reference, a 2004 film she starred in alongside Rachel McAdams.

The line riffs on the Mean Girls quote by Amy Poehler “I’m not like a *regular* mom, I’m a *cool* mom.”

Poehler played McAdam’s character Regina George’s mother in the film.

Women in the comments gushed over Lohan’s for showing the reality of post-baby life.

“Thank you for showing the realness ❤️ it sucks seeing all these celebrities ‘snapping back’ to a six pack after a month post partum 🧐🤨,” one woman wrote.

Another added: “You look exactly like a mom should look, just beautiful.”

Lohan’s baby was born in Dubai, where the couple lives, but it’s unknown how long ago he was born.
