Legendary actor Marlon Brando, at the age of 79, walks with a nurse (who is just out of frame) at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. The date was March 7, 2003. A heartthrob as a young man, Brando grew heftier in his older years, as so many of us do. (Although it must be admitted that he really *is* giving late-era Orson Welles a run for his money here, girth-wise.) Marlon Brando died of lung failure on July 1, 2004, a bit over a year after this photo was taken.
