1963 Ford Zephyr 4
The Zephyr MkIII was fitted with a four-cylinder 1700cc engine and marked the first rung on the ‘Zed’ ladder, sitting below the Zephyr Six, Zodiac and Zodiac Executive. Yet the base-line model is the purest in terms of design, lacking the wider grille of the Six and the chromelaid-on-with-a-trowel looks of the Zodiac. Good bodywork, paint and interior make this particular example a rare offering and the estimate is cheaper than that often given to the likes of BMC Farina models. Worth a closer look.
