FOOTY great Warwick Capper may have been a whiz on the oval but he’s about to wear a $60,000 loss on a unit punt.
The former Sydney Swans and Brisbane Bears star has put his Surfers Paradise unit on the market for around $339,000 – about $60,000 less than he paid a whopping seven years ago.
Agent Marshall Hall of Remax Regency Gold Coast was marketing Mr Capper’s apartment as having “front row seats to the Gold Coast 600” and “must be sold”.
“Warwick is in Melbourne and wants his Surfers Beach pad sold. It is a perfectly positioned, top floor apartment with a legendary location. Right on the GC600 track, two minutes to the beach, walking distance to all your needs and the light rail at your doorstep.”
He currently rents the property out for $440 a week. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and one car space and will be sold fully furnished.
The complex, Surfers Boulevard Apartments, sits 150 metres of the beach and has a pool, tennis court, gym, on-site cafe and on site management.
“Currently let to excellent tenants at $440pw, this has investment opportunity written all over it,” the agent said.
