Former Home And Awayactor Bec Hewitt has been spotted stepping into a Manly trophy home that was recently on the market with a $15 million price tag.

The Bower St home has now sold with Bec and her tennis star husband Lleyton Hewitt missing out, but the couple have been seen out and about in the area shopping and there is speculation they are looking to return to Sydney’s northern beaches.

Bec grew up on the northern beaches, and appeared in the Palm Beach-based soapie from age 15.

Her character, Hayley Lawson, was a favourite on the show and wasn’t killed off so there would be no problem with bringing her back to the Summer Bay community.

Lleyton even played a cameo role in the series at one stage.

Bec has been reported as saying she would like to return to her Home And Away role, which she left in 2005, the same year she married the former world number one tennis player.

The couple’s three children are growing up and Bec has been dipping her toe into a television comeback.

She was due to take a role on the television travel show, Helloworld, although that is reported to be on hold now because of COVID-19.

There has also been talk of the actor and mum taking part in the Channel 10 reality show I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here.

The pair sold this Kenthurst property back in 2016.

The 37-year-old hasn’t appeared on television since her Summer Bay days but with the children more independent it makes sense for her to think about her own career’s future.

Mia, 14, enjoys modelling, Cruz, 11, is a budding tennis player and has won awards, and nine-year-old Ava is a keen dancer and gymnast.

The family has moved around a lot, having lived in Palm Beach, Kenthurst, Melbourne and South Australia. They even spent a few years in the Bahamas.

If the family likes prestige property in Manly they might consider an Alex Popov designer home on the beachfront with a $16m-$17.5m guide.

This Manly property at 121 North Steyne could be the perfect family home.

The five-bedroom home at 121 North Steyne, Manly is across the road from the sand, has three levels of accommodation and comes with a pool.

Alternatively there is a new architect designer semi at 66 Alexander St, Manly up for grabs with a $6 million to $6.6 million guide.

It has an edgy design, pool and two of the four bedrooms have built-in study desks.

Further up the northern beaches a large waterfront home in Bayview has just come to market that could fit the bill.

Designed by renowned architect Michael Suttor the house is incredibly private with no windows facing the street plus it has a beach, jetty and boatshed.

Real Estate

This Elanora Heights property offers a bit more privacy but is just as luxurious.

An architect-designed new house in Mitala St, Newport would mean Bec is back in her home-ground of Pittwater.

There are five bedrooms, dreamy views and the house is set within a private estate.

But our pick for the family is in Caladenia Cl in Elanora Heights.

This grand estate is on 2ha in a cul-de-sac and it has a tennis court, a pool, a golf hole for putting practice and ocean views.
