Penn Jillette snorted chocolate in the name of comedy

Have you ever snorted chocolate? I hope not. I mean, honestly. However, if you do it for comedy, go for it.

Rio headliner Penn Jillette snorted chocolate with his friends for the new episode of his audio podcast, “Penn’s Sunday School.”

What in the world?

According to British media, the upsurge of snorting fine grains of cocoa was invented by some chocolate maker so there would be something at a birthday party for the Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts that they hadn’t tried yet.

Jillette regularly says he doesn’t do drugs and never has. But, you know. Then came chocolate!

He said he was skeptical beforehand, but he liked the snorting sensation better than expected, and he rubbed his gums like cocaine users do “in the movies,” he said.

“It feels like you’re in a chocolate palace,” Jillette joked. “I think that there may be a chocolate-snorting bar in Vegas soon.”

This was the first time Jillette has consumed chocolate in months, as he has been getting trimmer, losing 85 pounds since Thanksgiving, he said.

Meanwhile, I was just telling you last week that Andrew Dice Clay sounded high on weed in his podcast, “Rollin’ With Dice & Wheels,” and then I called him up and we talked about weed.

Since then, Clay has put out two new episodes. One episode is described potly as “420 friendly.” (Clay is performing March 12 at the Hard Rock Hotel.)

Speaking of podcasts, on my “Doug Elfman Show,” I have a fun chat with local musicians/media members Ginger Bruner and Beth Lano.

You can download or stream Jillette’s, Clay’s and my podcasts for free and immediately on Apple’s iTunes and Android’s Podcast Addict app.
