Sendhil Ramamurthy’s Wife Guest on Heroes

Sendhil Ramamurthy’s wife, actress Olga Sosnovska guested as Angela Petrelli’s aide in two episodes of Heroes during season three. The third volume of the show, titled “Villains” began with the assassination attempt on Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar) by Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) from the future, and explores its consequences. In addition, several villains with abilities escape from the Company’s prisons. Some of them join forces with Arthur Petrelli (Robert Forster) (Peter’s and Nathan’s father) at Pinehearst Company, who wants to find a formula that gives ordinary people abilities in order to make the world a better place. Character arcs involve Tracy Strauss (Ali Larter) discovering her origins, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) trying to decide his loyalties, Peter losing his ability, Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) giving himself an ability, and Hiro Nakamura‘s (Masi Oka) discovery of a family secret.

You may be familiar with her if you followed ABC soap All My Children in the early 2000’s! Olga’s groundbreaking role as Lena Kundera was one half of daytime’s first female same sex relationship opposite Eden Riegel’s Bianca Montgomery brought her to American audiences and soap fans’ attention back in 2002. When asked about her feelings about being part of such a groundbreaking storyline, she said, “I know this storyline has been dubbed as “ground-breaking” and even “shocking” which should make me feel like some sort of pioneering radical – and I would LOVE to feel that way but let’s face it, one very chaste kiss and some sporadic hand-holding seems hardly revolutionary! Basically, what I’m trying to say is that I hope that this lesbian couple gets a chance to live up to its “progressive” reputation. Followers of the show remember her far more as part of the iconic “Lianca” pairing more than “Sendhil Ramamurthy’s wife”.

Olga also appeared as one of the lone female parts in 2007 hit film, Oceans 13 as Concierge Debbie as well as in roles on notable shows Criminal Minds, Law & Order and critically acclaimed Showtime show, Weeds.

Olga is also well known to British audiences through her roles in spy thriller Spooks as Fiona Carter apposite  Rupert Penry-Jones as Adam Carter,

Graduates of Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, Olga and Sendhil met while studying drama in London, where they still have a home. Most recently, Olga stars with Corrinne Wicks in YouTube comedy Jackie and Lolita.
