Iraqi journalist Muntadhar al-Zaidi speaks during an interview at his house in Baghdad, Iraq, 08 December 2021 (issued 17 December 2021). Al-Zaidi is the Iraqi journalist who became known worldwide for throwing his shoes at the then US president George W Bush in 2008 in protest against the US invasion of Iraq. Iraq is marking the 10th anniversary of US withdrawal as the last US troops left Iraq on 18 December 2011, however al-Zaidi believes occupation might has ended 'militarily' but it is continuing 'politically'.
