Lara Stone is engaged to her Tinder match, David Grievson

Supermodel Lara Stone is set to marry for the second time, after recently revealing her engagement to handsome property developer David Grievson. The bride-to-be unveiled her diamond ring during a dinner at glamorous Mayfair restaurant Gymkhana, which was celebrating its reopening. The couple met via the dating app Tinder.

The 36-year-old model was previously married to comedian David Walliams, with the couple sharing a six-year-old son, Alfie. They met in 2009 and were married just four months later, with Claridge's and Shoreditch House providing the chic wedding party locations, and guests including Sir Elton John, Stephen Fry and Tom Ford. In 2015, they announced their divorce, with Walliams citing irreconcilable differences with Stone.

Despite being one of the world's most well-known models, Stone has been candid about not enjoying the spotlight that came with a relationship with Walliams. A friend of the model told the Daily Mail's Sebastian Shakespeare, 'She didn't enjoy that aspect of their relationship.'

Stone rose to fame in 2006, having been scouted aged just 12 on the Paris Metro. She made her catwalk debut for Givenchy when Riccardo Tisci hand-selected her for his show, and was soon signed up to model for Calvin Klein. Later, she appeared in French Vogue styled as a modern day Brigitte Bardot. From there, she went stratospheric, appearing in campaigns for everyone from Prada to H&M.

It's set to be a year of glamorous nuptials, with society brides including Cressida Bonas, Princess Beatrice, Natalia Vodianova and Flora Ogilvy all set to tie the knot.
